Sand Casting (G): It is possible to cast very large, complex shaped parts. The surface quality is lower than centrifugal casting and continuous casting. Porosity and voids may occur in the poured material. Centrifugal Casting (GZ): Physical properties superior to those obtained by other casting methods are obtained. Since it has a tight material structure, it can work under heavy load.
The part shapes that can be cast are limited. Continuous Casting (GC): The material structure is produced homogeneously and without gaps. Since the inner and outer surfaces of the material are very clean, it has low processing allowances.
