It is the casting form of polyamide. It is one of the engineering plastics that has many uses in all kinds of industries due to its superior physical, chemical, electrical and mechanical properties. Cast-Polyamide has high abrasion resistance and good fatigue and impact resistance. It is highly resistant to high pressures. It has high heat resistance and low coefficient of friction. However, due to its water absorption feature, it is not recommended in humid environments (6-7%). Due to its internal stresses, it may encounter problems such as distortion and twisting when high volumes of chips are removed. Diameters of 250mm and above must be processed with a special technique. Since the internal stress in question is much higher at larger diameters, the material may crack. The part shapes that can be cast are limited. Continuous Casting (GC): The material structure is produced homogeneously and without gaps. Since the inner and outer surfaces of the material are very clean, it has low processing allowances.
